The New Real: Blast Radius by MCM

This is just a quick little update to say that MCM, one of my favourite online authors, is doing another one of his crazy live writing schemes over at 1889 Labs, which of course I will be attempting to live blog along to over on The Dispatch.

Below is a cross-posting of my introductory blog to MCM’s latest live writing experiment, which I posted yesterday (Thursday) in preparation for all the excitement:

Introducing The New Real: Blast Radius

Dear Ladies and Jellyspoons,

I come before you
to stand behind you
and tell you something
I know nothing about.

On Friday,
which is Easter Monday,
there will be a livewriting event
for the dead only.

This book is a sequel,
it’s one of a kind.
There is a trailer
which you may not find.

The topic is old,
the title is new.
The author’s insane,
the characters are too.

Admission’s free,
you pay at the door.
Bring your own seat
and sit on the floor.

If you can come play,
please stay inside
and log into 1889 Labs
for a utterly wide ride.

For more information, check out the event on Facebook, and be sure to invite your friends to join!

You can already begin reading The New Real #2 over on 1889 Labs — four chapters are up so far, with more to come nearly every hour!

About A.M. Harte

A.M. Harte writes twisted speculative fiction, such as the post-apocalyptic Above Ground and the zombie love anthology Hungry For You. She is excellent at missing deadlines, has long forgotten what ‘free time’ means, and is utterly addicted to chocolate.
