The History is Returning!

Now that he’s of age, Prince Temmin must leave his childhood home behind for a new life with his father in the capital. King Harsin plans to educate his son in the ways of all the kings who have come before. But the family’s immortal advisor, Teacher, has other plans: to bring Temmin closer to his people; to bind him to a Temple devoted to eroticism; and to set him on a path that will lead ultimately to unimaginable glory for the House of Tremont–or its end.

MeiLin Miranda’s serial An Intimate History of the Greater Kingdom is one of the first webfiction I ever read, and really got me addicted to the format.

MeiLin has been on hiatus for what feels like ages, editing away and working on making that “crappy first draft” (her words, not mine) into something even awesomer.

Well I’m pleased to announce that as and from today, the first edited book Lovers and Beloved will begin posting, so if you’re new to MeiLin’s work now is the perfect time to tune in. The full ebook will be released some time in the next two weeks, and the paperback in October, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled.

In the meanwhile, I’m even more pleased to announce that MeiLin has kindly given me an ARC of Lovers and Beloved, so expect a review sometime in the near future!

About A.M. Harte

A.M. Harte writes twisted speculative fiction, such as the post-apocalyptic Above Ground and the zombie love anthology Hungry For You. She is excellent at missing deadlines, has long forgotten what ‘free time’ means, and is utterly addicted to chocolate.
